Amber Heard Reveals She’s Getting Death Threats, Says ‘People Want To Microwave My Baby’

During the recent court hearing, Amber Heard said she received death threats from Johnny Depp fans. The actress said people had threatened to “put her baby in the microwave”.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp face off at Farfax Court in Virginia. Depp sued ex-wife Heard over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in December 2018. In the article, she described herself as a “public figure representing domestic violence.” During a recent court hearing, the Aquaman star said she received thousands of death threats during the defamation lawsuit between her and Johnny Depp.


“I am harassed, humiliated, threatened every day,” Amber Heard said on the last day of testimony, according to AFP. Amber said she was the target of a social media campaign by millions of Depp fans. She also said she suffered from panic attacks, nightmares and trauma. “People want to kill me and they tell me that every day,” she told the jury, crying. “People want to put my baby in the microwave and they tell me.

“I’ve been getting hundreds of death threats regularly, even daily, thousands since this trial began, from people mocking my assault testimony,” the actress said. “It was agonizing, painful, the most humiliating thing I have ever experienced,” she said. “I just want Johnny to leave me alone.”


Johnny Depp and Amber Heard met on the sets of The Rum Diary in 2009 and started dating a few years later. In 2015, they got married. In 2016, Heard filed for divorce and alleged Depp physically assaulted her during their marriage while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Depp denied the charges and said Heard was “attempting to obtain a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.” Their divorce was finalized in 2017. Johnny Depp is currently suing Amber Heard for defamation over an op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post in 2018. This needs to change,” Heard claimed that she was a survivor of domestic violence. However, she did not name Depp.
