Inside Pregnant Ger Treacy’s Adventurous Wedding to Husband Bernard and Dream Wedding and Honeymoon

Ger Treacy of Ireland AM and her husband Bernard O’Toole have announced they are expecting their first child together later this year.

The sports presenter duo both work in Irish media and are well known for their fun and comedic relationship.

The couple often share information about their amazing relationship and love to make videos together and post them on their TikTok.

They even covered the legendary Irish comedy Father Ted with Ger playing the role of Mrs. Doyle who tries to force Father Ted, played by Bernard, to have tea.

How did they meet?

They first met while working together on Dublin radio station FM104.

Ger worked as a sports reporter on the show for ten years, from February 2006 to February 2016.

Bernard studied at Dublin City University from 2000 to 2003 and obtained an Honors BA in Communication and Media Studies.

Ger attended NUI Galway and obtained both a Bachelor of Arts in English and Legal Studies and a Masters in Journalism.

Are they married?

Yes, the couple got engaged in 2014 and had a specular marriage in July 2016.

Their ceremony was held at St Joseph’s Church, Ballyadams, Co. Laois, and their evening reception took place in the picturesque setting of nearby Ballintubbert House.

The romantic venue is located in the countryside with the outdoor reception in the Orchard and Tabernacle. The area is surrounded by rose pergolas and an herb garden.

While their wedding was gorgeous, it was the adventurous couple’s honeymoon that won the award at their wedding festivities.

Ger and Bernard took a tour of Africa, visiting countries like Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Cape Town in South Africa and they even took a safari in Botswana.

The couple have just announced that they are expecting their first child with Ger to give birth later this year over the holiday season.

Speaking to RSVP Live, they said, “We are both absolutely thrilled, we are extremely grateful, and we feel so lucky to wait. We’re really in seventh heaven and both of us so excited.

The Ireland AM host let everyone know that she is feeling a lot better after recovering from an illness earlier in the pregnancy: I feel great and it will be worth it.
