  • The six-time Ballon d’Or has been far from impressive in the three matches it has played so far for the Parisians.

After his transfer to French club Paris Saint Germain, Argentine legend Lionel Messi has yet to find a permanent apartment in the French capital, reports SunSport.

The six-time Ballon d’Or winner who left Barcelona to join PSG on a £ 1million-a-week contract continued to struggle on the pitch.

England legend Michael Owen said earlier that the inclusion of the 34-year-old in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad would only make the squad weaker.

Personal issues

Since arriving with his wife Antonela and three children in August, Messi has yet to find a permanent residence for his family.

They currently spend £ 17,000 per night (around N10 million) at the Royal Monceau, a five-star hotel; although Messi wanted to rent a £ 41million chateau just outside Paris.

It was concluded that after realizing that it was Messi who was interested, the owner of the player’s dream house dubbed the ‘Pink Palace’ asked for an additional £ 8.5,000 per month.

His teammate Angel Di Maria also added that the former Barcelona captain cannot escape his adoring fans.

Ronald Koeman describes Messi as a tyrant

Meanwhile, Barcelona football club manager Ronald Koeman has called ex-captain Lionel Messi a “tyrant” who wants to win everything; even in training.

The Argentine legend was forced to leave the club following financial problems between the club and the La Liga board over the summer.

According to Koeman, Messi’s attitude in training has made his teammates become better players, helping to raise the level of their game as a unit.

How Chelsea tried to sign Marquinhos for € 100million reported earlier that Premier League club Chelsea had made efforts to remove Brazilian defender Marquinhos from French club Paris Saint-Germain before the summer transfer window closed.
